#DFCCIL Successfully Commissioned the New Makarpura—New Sanand North section of WDFC on 23rd May 2024 after the successful trial run. Shri R. K. Jain (MD/DFCCIL), DIR/Infra/DFCCIL and DIR/OP&BD/DFCCIL observed the successful trial run of an electric freight train on 138 Km UP line from New Sanand (North) to New Makarpura along with coordination talks with DRM of Vadodara, Indian Railways. The inspection of the DN line from New Makarpura to New Sanand was also done through the rear window.
We are proud and delighted to share the achievement of Nippon Koei Consortium (NKC) linking the entire 949 km of WDFC Phase-1, which stretches between New Rewari in Haryana and New Makarpura in Gujarat. This will boost connectivity between the North Indian states and the ports on the western coast of India.
