“We are pleased to inform that the Bangladesh’s first ever Metro, Dhaka Metro got successfully inaugurated on 28 Dec 2022. The Prime minister of Bangladesh Ms. Sheikh Hasina opened Dhaka Metro for around 11.75 KM part of the MRT Line 6. It has 9 stations from Uttara north to Agargaon. The Dhaka Metro rail aims to ease Dhaka’s traffic congestion as it’s known to be the most crowded city of world. It’s commercial operations (Partially) have been started from today. We appreciate the hard efforts and congratulate NKI team associated with the consortium “NKDM Association” for achieving the milestone and bringing this glory.”
