Trial-Run of Double-stack Loaded Freight Train with Diesel power for the Indian Railways (IR) was successfully conducted on 27.07.2022 in the newly built Palanpur Connecting Line (PCL) section of Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC). The PCL section covers a distance of more than 14 kms (Total 32 track km) between the New Palanpur and the New Chadotar Junction Stations of WDFC as part of the New Chadotar-New Rewari Goods Traffic (677 kms). It is first port connectivity of entire DFC line.
